How Important is Failure to Success?

pedigreedatabase.comI remembered when I was a little pup watching older kids flying up and down the street on their bikes and I wanted to do the same so bad.

That one monumental day came when my parents finally bought me a bike without the training wheels. Who knew that day was the start of a valuable lesson I have never forgotten.

What I thought would be an easy task became one that had me question, “how in the hell did those other kids learn to do this?” Read moreRead more

My Cluttered Desk and Your Cluttered Life

travelingdixie.com

I went in my office this morning and realized it is so messy I can’t even sit in there and work comfortably. I moved all the furniture in the center of the room as I will be painting the walls.

With that said there’s no excuse for my the mess on my desk. I can’t even sit my laptop on my desk without knocking something over or having to push papers to the side.

No wonder I am always on my couch with my computer! It really makes my job of blogging more difficult at the same time stressful by working in there. If I cleaned up my desk, I could get things done.

Like my desk, there are situations in our lives where if we just cleaned up our messes we created for ourselves, we could be more productive and less stressed out. Easier said than done I know but think about how much easier things would be.

What is holding you back from being successful? Think about the ”junk” in your life. Here are a couple of things that could clutter your life and slow you down from reaching your goals. Read moreRead more

Drinking Water to Lose Weight-While Eating the Same Foods

I will make this short and sweet. You want

to lose some of those extra pounds you are carrying around? Drink water and only water!!! Assuming you have somewhat of a decent diet, you will lose weight.

When I say drink only water, I mean nothing but water. Most people do not drink enough water anyway so this will help you out in that department. When you drinking items other than water you are just basically drinking empty calories and those calories do add up.

Water also help you hydrate and flush toxins out of the body. You will feel refreshed and some of those pounds will fall off.

Water 15 to 20 mins before a meal will help fill you up, making it more likely you will eat less than you normally would also. You will be less hungry and will not overeat.

Here’s the challenge, try to consume about 3.7 and 2.7 liters of water a day, respectively, including water found in food and other beverages. Do this and the weight will come off and stay off.
